Texas at Cleveland

 

You may not be able to pronounce it properly, but anyone usually looking for a sure fire win this week needs to remember the name Fausto Carmona. Runs will be in short supply on Tuesday, as Carmona rides a red-hot streak into the Jake as the Indians host the Rangers. Carmona is 3-0 in his last three starts, and the Under is 3-0 in the same span. Last outing, Carmona was a 1-0 winner against Josh Beckett and the Red Sox, and he'll ride that momentum into Tuesday night's start. Both the Rangers and the Indians are riding strong "Under" trends. The Rangers have struggled to score all season long, with the under going 9-3-2 in their last 14 road games, and the Under cashing 17-8-3 in their last 28 overall. The Indians, on the other hand, have gone Over the Total just twice in their last 8 games at home. With a mid-range Over/Under of 9.5, this game will be an easy "Under" as Carmona continues to baffle hitters

NY Mets at Milwaukee

 

On paper, these two teams appear to be very evenly matched -- however, we've uncovered an edge that the linesmakers forgot to take into account! The home edge has not been factored into the equation nearly enough in this case, as the Brewers have been nearly invincible within the confines of Miller Park. The Brew Crew are 41-17 in their last 58 home matches, and a white-hot 8-1 in their last 9 at home. Furthermore, they've been excellent behind Jeff Suppan, (7-2 in his last 9 home starts).  Injuries will also play a key role in this one - Carlos Beltran and Paul Lo Duca will both likely sit this one with minor injuries. The Brewers' strong home record combined with the ailing Mets roster seals a Milwaukee victory on Tuesday
