    When Brandon Morrow makes his final start of the season Friday, he will do it at Yankee Stadium, where he made his first major league start.

    When he was with the Mariners, he made his first start after 101 relief appearances on Sept. 5, 2008. Morrow was brilliant, allowing one hit and one run in 7 2/3 innings. The hit came with two outs in the eighth.

    Morrow has that kind of stuff. He lost a no-hitter against the Rays this season with two outs in the ninth in a 1-0 win on Aug. 8.

    Morrow is 1-0 with a 7.94 ERA at Yankee Stadium this season and 1-0 with a 4.81 ERA in four starts overall against the Yankees. In his career, he is 2-0 with a 4.46 ERA against New York.

    This will be Morrow's 26th start of the season.
