Apparently Reed is getting closer to the majors... saw this on the Globe and Mail webpage:


Outfielder Reed Johnson is getting closer to returning to the Toronto Blue Jays, literally and figuratively.

Johnson, who has been on the 60-day disabled list after needing surgery for herniated disks, will join the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs Tuesday after going 4-for-12 with a double and home run at Single-A Dunedin.

Let's hope he can get back to the bigs asap!
